It was a full house at Green Towers in Edmonton on Saturday 15 April when ECA held it's first quiz night in three years. People from all over London and the southeast of England made the journey to support ECA's fundraising event.

Nine teams entered the quiz battling over eight rounds of questions covering a wide range of topics including current affairs, general knowledge, Africa and the Caribbean, food and celebrities.

ECA trustee and treasurer, Cedric Levy was the host and quiz master for the evening. According to Cedric, "This was a superb fun filled evening, with lots of laughter and joy. People came together and renewed old acquaintances or made new friendships over refreshments. Pooling knowledge for their teams."

The winning team was Trekkers 8.0. According to the Trekkers 8.0 team captain Shirley, “Thank you for creating a fabulous evening for us. Everyone in the Trekkers 8.0 team had a tremendously enjoyable evening and we’re looking forward to the next event.”

A raffle was held with the top prizes a two course meal for two people supplied by Allotment N11, an eclectic Caribbean restaurant in Friern Barnet, North London (61 Friern Barnet Rd N11 3EH) and Caribbean catering company, Zenith Cuisine providing a meal for two to be delivered to your home.

The Cathip health hour was promoted at the event and a number of people signed up to receive the weekly health hour information every Saturday at 11am.
