Enfield Council have started consulting on a Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) for the Western Bank of Meridian Water (i.e. the area west of the River Lee Navigation). The SPD will provide detailed guidance on how existing planning policies should be enacted to deliver coordinated high quality placemaking and sustainable development. The framework provided by the SPD will enable the delivery of a new local centre at Meridian Water, with homes, workspaces, parks, community facilities and naturalised waterways.

We are keen to hear your views – the SPD can be found at www.enfield.gov.uk/mwwbspd, consultation closes at 23:59 on 14th December, and you can email localplan@enfield.gov.uk to let us know what you think. If you have any online meetings scheduled during the consultation period and you would like us to attend to do a brief presentation and Q&A then do let me know.

Untold Edmonton Grant programme is open: Untold Edmonton will support projects. Small grants of £500-£4,000 and large grants of £4,000-£9,000 are available for projects that involve local people in learning more about and enjoying great stories about Edmonton’s heritage.
