ECA starts Walking Club on Tuesday 25th May – its FREE

ECA is starting a walking club for anyone interesting in getting fit and support overall well-being.

ECA is starting a walking club for anyone interesting in getting fit and support overall well-being.

Walking is a superb activity to get fit and keep fit. Walking can be as good as a workout, and for some of us less able, a better exercise choice. Walking improves cardiac health, alleviates depression and fatigue, improves mood, creates less stress on joints and can reduce pain, the list goes on.

So, what are you waiting for, come and join us on the 25th May 2021, it’s free, no fancy equipment needed, just bring yourself (perhaps a bottle of water) and if you like a friend, you’re feel better for it, I’m sure.

WHEN: Every other week (weather permitting) at 10:30am, starting Tuesday 25th May 2021

WHERE: Pymmes Park, Victoria Road N18

HOW FAR: 0.5-1 mile – there is an option to do a longer walk if you wish

WHO CAN ATTEND: Anyone, the walk will be moderated to suit. We will go as slow or as fast as required.

WHERE WILL WE MEET: at 10:15 at the entrance to the park, nearest to the toilets on Victoria Road and Park Road

DATES FOR JUNE: Tuesday 8th & 22nd June 

DATES FOR JULY: Tuesday 6th & 20th July 

DATES FOR AUGUST: Tuesday 3rd, 17th & 31st August

Enfield Caribbean Association is starting to reintroduce activities to support the well-being of our community, in particular the elderly. Plans are in hand to restart ‘Luncheon club’ as well as ‘Exercise in the park’, do keep at look out for details. Until then, come and join us for a walk in the park.
