Events

Enfield Caribbean Assocation has been following the guidance and  advice from national government and liaising with Enfield Council to plan our events and celebrations.

We organised a trip to the theatre with our elders in March to see Get Up Stand Up, the musical about Bob Marley’s life at the Lyric Theatre, Piccadilly

We held our book launch: Windrush Voices - 20 Stories of Determination and Triump at Millfield Theatre on Wednesday 27 April at 6pm.

We held our Windrush celebration on 24 June at Green Towers. Furthermore, we are planning our Black History Month event on 24 September.

We are holding our annual general meeting on Thursday 15 September  at  Community House, 311 Fore Street, Edmonton N9 0PZ. Click here to review our Annual Report.

Have a look at our Black History Month page for more details of our previous events or our news section for any updates to this event.

In the past, ECA has contributed to many local initiatives, including a campaign to mark the bicentenary of the 1807 Abolition of the North Atlantic Slave trade with the commemorative plaques now in place at Enfield Civic Centre, Edmonton Library and Community House, Enfield.

With your support we can continue to provide these vital services to the BME community and achieve our mission to make the ECA a strong, independent voice for equality and social justice in Enfield.
